Our Under 8’s took part in the first of three trophy events held at Carterton FC on Sunday Sept 30th
The team were drawn in a really tough division with teams from Byfield Tigers, Launton, Easington Sports, Chipping Norton and our friendly rivals Tower Hill.
We knew we were in for a tough day but the U8’s didn’t disappoint. All the games were really close but we manged to come away with three wins and two draws.
I couldn’t fault the effort they put in, they really worked hard in every game and got the results they deserved. We ended the day with a team photo, with a guest appearance from a Chippy player!
Round two is November 18th so let’s hope for the same again.
