Following the UK Government’s announcement on new national COVID-19 restrictions
the club has been informed by The FA from Thursday 5th November until Wednesday
2nd December that we must suspend all fixtures and training.
Re-starting football has taken substantial determination and commitment from
everybody in the club and we would like to thank everyone for their vital contributions.
However, health and wellbeing remain the priority, so it is extremely important that our
players, coaches, match officials, league officials, volunteers, parents and carers adhere
to the UK Government’s new national COVID-19 restrictions during this period.
We understand how disappointing this news will be for everybody involved with the club
however we are sure all our coaches will be working hard to remain in contact with the
players as best they can using online material and social media during this period of
lockdown.
We remain in dialogue with The FA, various leagues and the CFA’s and will provide
further guidance if the situation changes. We will be planning on returning to training and
fixtures from 2nd December however in these interesting times nothing seems to be certain.
Please keep an eye on our social media sites, website and the team communications for more inforation over this month.
